Uniform Policy
It is mandated by the School District of Philadelphia that students wear uniforms every day unless there is an exception being made school-wide. The uniform policy will be strictly enforced. Parents will be contacted if a student fails to dress for school as required and have the option to bring in a uniform. If parents are unable to bring in a uniform, students will be lent a previously owned uniform for the day.
Hackett’s uniform is:
- Light blue collared shirt
- Navy blue pants, Navy blue skirt, or Jumper
- Sneakers – Please consider sneakers with velcro until your child learns how to tie them.
- Cold-weather clothing accessories, including sweaters, cardigans, sweatshirts, or turtlenecks should be solid navy blue.
*Hackett School and Friends of Hackett are the only graphics permitted on clothing.*
NOT PERMITTED

Crocs, Flip flops, sandals, slides, or any type of open front or back footwear
Dress Down Days will begin the first Friday In October – if you wish, your child may dress down (out of uniform) on Fridays. There is a $1 fee.
