Hackett SAC is excited to share Hackett Helping Hands, a program that promotes giving back and making a positive impact right here in our own community.

Hackett Helping Hands’ first project will be a food drive to benefit the Lutheran Settlement House on Frankford Avenue. From November 17th through 21st, we will be collecting canned food items and other non-perishables for Lutheran Settlement House (LSH). Students are encouraged to bring in any of the listed items from the attached flyer, and as a thank-you for their generosity, they will earn a “free” dress-down day.

Participation is completely voluntary. If your family is unable to contribute at this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at HackettSAC@gmail.com. We will make sure a donated item is included on your behalf. Our goal is to build a spirit of giving and inclusion—not obligation—and ensure that every student feels part of this initiative.

Hackett Helping Hands is proud to support LSH as we approach the Thanksgiving holiday. We plan to host drives throughout the school year, each supporting different community needs. We hope our Hackett families will participate and help our students see the difference they can make when we all come together.

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us teach our students what it means to be kind, compassionate, and community-minded. Together, we can make a real difference, one helping hand at a time.
